I’m an artist, craftsman, and lifelong collector who believes the things we love shouldn’t sit in boxes. They should become part of something beautiful.
I create handcrafted chessboards and custom pieces that combine traditional woodworking, resin work, and trading cards to turn nostalgia into a piece of art that can be played. Every board is built by hand and designed to be one of a kind.
What started as an experiment with a few cards and some resin turned into something much bigger. It became a way to transform collectibles into pieces people can display, play with, and pass down.
If you’re curious how it all started, you can listen to the full story on the podcast episode below.
I grew up surrounded by art.
Originally from Hungary, I studied art in England and Switzerland, before eventually settling in the United States after my Masters degree. My background is rooted in traditional art and sculpture, where I learned the value of, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
Over the years I’ve worked in a variety of creative roles, from fine art to large-scale themed work, always chasing the same idea: creating objects that feel meaningful and lasting.
At the same time, I’ve always been deeply connected to nerd culture, collectibles, trading cards, games, and the stories behind them. Eventually those two worlds collided.
I started experimenting with ways to incorporate trading cards into functional pieces of art. Chessboards quickly became the perfect format with a grid that could showcase cards while still serving a purpose. What began as a small idea turned into a full creative process. Cutting, designing, casting resin, and building boards that feel like playable display pieces.
Today each board is still made by hand in my workshop, combining craftsmanship with the culture that inspired it.
My goal is simple
To build the most unique collectible game boards in the world.
I want these pieces to feel like they belong in a game room, a gallery, or on display next to the collections that inspired them. This project is still growing, and every new board pushes the idea further.
